Student success coaching

Our coaches work one to one with students from junior year of high school, through college and into life after the degree. Together, coach and student build an individualized plan for success, then keep it moving.

For families, and for schools and colleges that want coaching for their students.

One coach, from high school to career

  1. College-bound juniors and seniors

Postsecondary readiness: choosing majors and schools, application essays, scholarships, and the planning habits students need before they arrive.

  2. Into and through college

The move to campus and every term after it: connecting students to campus resources and helping them stay on track to finish.

  3. Life after the degree

Careers and next steps, with particular attention to how AI is changing the work graduates will do.

How coaching works

  1. Get to know the studentInterests, strengths, goals and what is getting in the way.
  2. Build the plan togetherAn individualized success plan with clear steps, written with the student, not for them.
  3. Check in and follow throughRegular coaching sessions to review deadlines, solve problems and choose the next manageable step.
  4. Adjust as they growThe plan changes as the student moves from high school into college and beyond.

Coaching draws on research on executive function from the Center on the Developing Child at Harvard University: the skills people use to plan, focus, remember instructions and juggle several tasks.
