Ruqqayya Maudoodi

Students do best when someone checks in at the moments that matter. I look for barriers early, reach out before small problems become big ones, and help each student build a clear path forward, including students returning to finish what they started.

Ruqqayya leads student success coaching at GOE and coaches college-bound seniors as they prepare for college.

She has taught at every level, from K–12 art classrooms in Alief ISD to university courses in educational technology and teacher preparation. As Director of Rutgers Arts Online, she worked with online program teams to build student check-ins at critical points in the semester and early-alert outreach for students at risk of falling behind, and at Manhattan School of Music she helped create pathways for adults returning to finish their degrees.
